Activity Details
Seven moments designed to be lived, felt, and remembered:

1. Welcome
A dedicated host will accompany you throughout the entire journey, guiding the experience from beginning to end.
Approx. 10 min

2. The Savannah

A guided tour in a climate-controlled vehicle to encounter 59 Baroque Friesian horses roaming freely across the land, their movement so fluid it feels as if they are floating through the landscape. A deeply grounding and almost spiritual experience, where stress melts away and anxiety gives way to quiet awe and joyful wonder.

Approx. 20 min

3. Direct Contact with a Friesian

A quiet, intimate encounter: looking into the eyes of a Friesian, offering a treat, and connecting heart to heart with one of these extraordinary horses.

Approx. 10 min

5. Socialization

Each participant is paired with a Friesian and guided by an experienced facilitator, entering an experience where wonder naturally awakens joy and stress gently fades away. After greeting the participant with a reverent bow, the Friesian lies down, inviting the rider to mount. The horse then rises calmly to all four feet with the rider on its back—a celestial moment witnessed by the entire group, filled with uplifting energy. In that shared space, stress and anxiety dissolve even further, and tears often flow freely.

Approx. 15 min

6. Playing Volleyball in the Pool
A one-of-a-kind moment in the world: Observe two riders, each with their Friesian, play volleyball in the water—creating surprise, delight, and a deep sense of shared joy.

Approx. 15 min

4. The Friesian Show – “My Sentiment”

Two of our Friesians showcase their artistic abilities, guided by Master Toño Serrano, widely recognized in Europe as a horse whisperer. A performance that inspires and reflects the Christian principles and values at the heart of Rancho Reposo’s philosophy.

Approx. 30 min

7. Farewell Moments

Time for photographs, shared reflections, and the integration of memories meant to be treasured and passed on to family and future generations.

Friesian Pool Encounter

Activity Details

This includes all the experiences and benefits of Your Encounter with the Friesian Horse Tour and takes it one step further by inviting you into the pool alongside a Friesian.

You don’t miss anything.
You experience everything — and then go deeper.

In addition to everything above, the Pool Encounter invites you to move from observer to participant.

Instead of watching the pool experience from the outside, each visitor enters the pool with a Friesian and becomes part of the game. Guided by professionals, you play, move, and connect with the horse in the water — experiencing its calm strength, trust, and responsiveness from within the moment.

What you once observed, you now live.

Guests often describe this immersion as joyful, freeing, and deeply uplifting — a rare opportunity to feel fully present and connected in a way that stays with them long after the experience ends.

Level 3

Pool Riding Practice with the Friesians
Practice riding in the pool (not a tour)

Activity Details

A guided practice. This is not a tour

This is a guided practice designed for learning, confidence, and progression in a uniquely safe environment

The Experience

Pool Practice offers a one-hour guided session where participants learn how to ride a Friesian horse in the water, using the pool as a natural layer of protection and support.

The water reduces impact, increases balance, and helps prevent the common risks of traditional horseback riding—especially falls to the ground. This creates a safer, more enjoyable learning environment for beginners and those seeking to build confidence without fear.

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, participants learn mounting, posture, balance, and connection with the horse, all while enjoying the playful and calming nature of the aquatic setting.

What might feel intimidating on land becomes accessible, fun, and empowering in the water.

Why the Pool Matters

  • Water acts as a natural cushion, reducing the risk of injury

  • Falls are softened and non-threatening

  • Horses move calmly and steadily in the pool

  • Learning feels intuitive, relaxed, and enjoyable

Participants often describe the experience as confidence-building, joyful, and surprisingly freeing.

Important Note

This experience is a practice session only and does not include Your Encounter with the Friesian Horse Tour or any of its activities.

Pricing

  • Single Session: $120 per hour
